You can even venture out to the wooden, grill restaurant and enjoy a bite to eat. the renovated rooms and clean bathrooms provide a great stay. Wake up to a scenic view of the mountains of NC. Take advantage of the activities, like swimming in the pool or an unforgettable experience with clogging lessons.

Although the lodge is beautiful, and the staff are friendly, the food at the restaurant is average and pricey.

Absolutely loved the beautiful scenery and stunning views! the outdoor activities were also a highlight. the hiking trails were well-marked and offered a variety of options for all skill levels. the swimming pool was clean and refreshing, and the onsite restaurant served delicious food.

The accommodations were quite outdated and could use some modernizing. the furniture was old and uncomfortable, and the beds were squeaky and hard.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and friendly staff. The location in the mountains provided a peaceful atmosphere, with proximity to the wooden-grill restaurant and breakfast. Although the hotel was down all those winding hills, the parking was convenient.

The resort is surrounded by beautiful forests, providing a serene environment. The area also has many dammed lakes for water activities. Back-to-nature activities such as catching fireflies and bird watching are also popular. the resort offers plenty of activities for families.

While the cabins were kept in great condition, some could use an update. Unfortunately, the lack of cell phone service and poor WiFi connection can be frustrating for those who need to communicate with family and friends.
